Startup Safari @ Stylight

Throughout the world, Meetups bring people together to experience the things that really matter to them. Because of that we at Stylight are hosting a lot of Meetups to connect with people from all areas of interest.

One big Meetup took place from 22th till the 25th of October in Munich. The Startup Safari. We were happy to be part of it again, open our doors and host a workshop at our office.

The Startup Safari brings together prominent founders, top-tier investors, world’s leading corporates and well-known accelerators with all kind of interested people. No matter if you were a student searching for a job, a corporate looking for the next big innovation or an investor searching for the hottest startups. The Startup Safari is for everyone. It’s a chance to jump into the scene, get the foot on the ground and make meaningful connections to shape your future.

As Stylight is a member of the Munich Startup Family, we were excited to make our contribution to this year ́s Startup Safari with a Machine Learning workshop. With Sergii, our Head of Product Service & Data Platform, we found a perfect fit to share our knowledge about Machine Learning.

The Machine Learning hype is huge. The amount of blog articles is countless, but how to get some practical results? How to switch from theoretical to a more practical approach? Our workshop was taking the attendees to the journey to use Machine Learning for real. The outcomes of this workshop were to learn how to use Machine Learning with a very limited number of data points, how to use TensorFlow hub and what opportunities it opens. Moreover how to get a model exported for production uses and how to run inference on multiple platforms.

Stylight is hosting a lot more Meetups about all kind of Tech topics, like Docker, Unicorns in Tech, ReactJS and much more like Startup failure or HumanOps. Make sure to check out what Meetups we are hosting and be part of our next event: Tech for good – Social Impact Speaker Night on Tuesday, 19th of November.

For the Startup Safari we were very happy about everyone who took part in our workshop and to make some interesting connections. Looking forward to join again next year and see you around at some of our Meetups!
